1.Gas Unit HeaterUnit Information
  • Clean area around unit
  • Check burner safety controls; adjust pilot and settings as required
  • Perform operational check of unit; make adjustments on controls and other components as required
  • Lubricate shaft and motor bearings
  • Fill out maintenance checklist and report deficiencies
  • Check tension, condition, and alignment of belts; adjust as necessary
  • Replace belts, as required
  • Check electrical wiring and connections; tighten loose connections
  • Check with operating or area personnel for deficiencies
2.Electric Unit HeaterUnit Information
  • Check operation of all safety and limit controls
  • Check operation of indoor thermostat
  • Check and calibrate operating safety controls
