Major Parts

Major Parts are those parts that are not included in the small parts category. They include but are not limited to; Compressors, Motors, Controls, etc. There are pros and cons of including Major Parts in a service agreement.

Many contractors view this type of service agreement as far too risky. They are unsure how to price this type of agreement and how to manage it. 

Compressors are the favorite component for a contractor to leave out of the service agreement they call Full Coverage.  (Then it is not Full Coverage.)  The reason that they do not know how to price the agreement to cover compressors. Their experience says compressors fail frequently. They do, if you do not perform the required programmed maintenance.
